Get my reading ↗About this piece
Almost everything sold as inexpensive Chinese jade is serpentine — Xiuyan jade, after the county in Liaoning it comes from. It is a real stone with a long history of use, and it is not nephrite. The trade blurs the two constantly, and the price difference is enormous, so we will say it plainly: this is serpentine.
This one is carved in Xiuyan itself rather than bought in and resold, which is the part we could verify. Hand-cut, so the shell pattern varies piece to piece.
The turtle is the earth-element form in this range: low, heavy for its size, and meant to be set down and left. Where a reading asks for weight in a sector, that is what it is providing — a physical fact rather than a symbol.
Why this object
The turtle is one of the four traditional guardian forms and the one associated with the back of a site — support behind you rather than opportunity in front. In an interior it is used where a sector wants steadying.
How to wear or place it
Behind a desk, or on a low shelf against the back wall of the room (the side feng shui says the room sits on).
It belongs in an earth sector, and the point of it is that it does not move.

Care
Dry or barely damp cloth. Serpentine is softer than quartz and will scratch against harder stones — keep it away from crystal pieces.
How we choose what we sell
Materials, stated plainly
Every listing names what it is made of. If a stone has been dyed or heat-treated, the listing says so.
Certificates you can check
Where a lab certificate exists we show it with its number, so you can verify it yourself rather than take our word.
No promises we can't keep
We explain the tradition behind each object and where it belongs. We never claim it will bring luck, health or money.
Questions
Is it natural?
The material line above states it exactly. Where we hold a lab certificate it is shown with a number you can verify, and if a stone has been treated the listing says so.
Will it bring me luck?
Honestly: no object does that by itself. Feng shui treats objects as the last step, after placement and the room itself. What this gives you is a carefully chosen object, in the right place, as a daily reminder of what you are working toward.
Where exactly should it go?
That depends on you or your home, which is what the free readings calculate. Each one shows the direction or sector, and why.
Where does it ship from, and how long does it take?
From China. We do not keep stock in a U.S. warehouse: each piece is ordered from the workshop that makes it after you order, packed in Guangdong, and flown to you. Processing takes 1–3 business days and shipping 12–20 business days, so most orders arrive 13–23 business days after they are placed. We ship to the United States only. Shipping is included in the price. U.S. import duties or taxes are not: if any are charged on delivery, the buyer pays them.
Shipping and returns?
Shipping is included in the price, so there is nothing extra to pay at checkout. If a piece arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will send a replacement or refund you in full. The shipping and returns policies are linked beside the Buy button.
